Planning Applications

Sprotbrough and Cusworth Parish Council are statutory consultees for all applications taking place within the parish boundary. Doncaster Council as the Local Planning Authority notify us of these applications.

Planning Applications are normally discussed by the Parish Council at its monthly meeting following receipt of the notification of the proposed development. Details of the meetings are shown in the Council meeting calendar. A list of all planning applications received by the Parish Council to comment on is included in the Agenda papers and can also be downloaded below.

If the Parish Council decide to make a formal comment on a planning application this will be done following the meeting it is discussed and submitted to Doncaster Council. They will take into consideration the comments we make, alongside all other comments, when determining the planning application. Below are the responses made by the Parish Council.

Further information relating to the planning process can be found on Doncaster Council's website.

Please note that if residents wish to make a comment on an application they must do so directly to Doncaster Council and not rely on the Parish Council to make a comment. The Parish Council's comments hold no more weight in determining planning applications than an individual representation.
