Lamp Post Poppy Campaign 2024
A BIG 'Thank you' to all residents and businesses in Sprotbrough and Cusworth for donating to the Sprotbrough and Cusworth 'Lamp Post Poppies' campaign for 2023. A total of £1000.00 was raised which is brilliant.
All money raised was used to purchase 200 large poppies from the Royal British Legion which supports any veteran or their family that are living with difficulties. The Parish Council with the help of members of the Don Gorge Community Group installed the poppies along Sprotbrough Road/ Melton Road/ Thorpe Lane/ Main Street in Sprotbrough and Cusworth Lane in Cusworth.
